Measuring Conflicts of Multisource Imprecise Information in Multistate System Reliability Assessment

چکیده
In engineering scenarios, expert judgments play an essential role in reliability assessment, especially for those systems with few historical data. To achieve a rational result, experts from different areas should be involved, and the uncertainties their assessments properly addressed. Such information is often referred to as multisource imprecise (MSII) might contain high degree of conflicts, usually have expertise knowledge. Properly quantifying conflicts among MSII, then, becomes critical issue, subsequent processing MSII (e.g., combination calibration), depends on conflict MSII. this end, new measure put forth based Dempster–Shafer theory (DST) quantify visualize group experts. first place, each used construct basic belief assignment (BBA) estimates corresponding under DST. A 2-D measure, which combines factor Jousselme distance DST, is, proposed between experts’ BBAs. The quantified two perspectives, viz., mutual total conflict. Finally, Bhattacharyya distance-based method developed further informativeness expert's system estimate. numerical example along case validate effectiveness approach.

On the Reliability of Multistate Systems with Imprecise Probabilities
We consider the computation of multistate systems reliabilities in the presence of random set estimations for the elements' working abilities. It turns out that the Dempster-Shafer (DS) approach is a suitable mathematical tool. For the case that the interdependence of the elements is unknown, bounds for the system's performance belief and plausibility functions are given as well.
متن کاملImprecise probabilities based on generalized intervals for system reliability assessment
Di erent representations of imprecise probabilities have been proposed, where interval-valued probabilities are used such that uncertainty is distinguished from variability. In this paper, we present a new form of imprecise probabilities for reliability assessment based on generalized intervals. Generalized intervals have group properties under the Kaucher arithmetic, which provides a concise r...
متن کاملImprecise system reliability using the survival signature
The survival signature has been introduced to simplify quantification of reliability of systems which consist of components of different types, with multiple components of at least one of these types. The survival signature generalizes the system signature, which has attracted much interest in the theoretical reliability literature but has limited practical value as it can only be used for syst...
متن کاملImprecise Reliability
We present a concise overview of imprecise reliability, particularly focussing on reliability theory with uncertainty quantified via lower and upper probabilities. We discuss the main approaches and opportunities of the theory, we include references to guide further study, and we briefly discuss some research challenges.
متن کاملIdentification and Categorization of Effective Factors and Indices in Measuring the Maturity of Accounting Information System
Management accounting highlights the use of accounting information for decision making and optimal control and management of executives in organizations. Accounting information is provided comprehensively by the accounting information system (AIS). To develop the AIS, the maturity of the system should be determined. In this regard, the first step is to identify and categorize maturity factors a...
